I can barely remember anything from the book so I am pretty much go-with-the-flow on the casting choices. Except for maybe Ethan and Lena, I’ll be more picky when it comes to them.

It’s in other media, too. Comics and animated cartoons as well. Whenever there’s a team of three youngsters, there are always two boys and one girl. Funny how so many fictional worlds suffer from female deficient.
Though not every power trio (3 members of a squad teamed together and going to adventures) is a love triangle. That’s the difference between HP and HG. In HP the three were actually working and spent time together but in Hunger games there are scenes either with Katniss/Peeta or Katniss/Gale, except for the training session in 2nd book. I didn’t read the 3rd one yet so I don’t know but I still think these two ‘concepts’ are different tropes at all.

Thank the Musical Gods that he made this fabulous casting decision! I had a whole cult of blog followers and Les Miserables devotees ready to boycott this movie if Swift was cast as Eponine.

I agree with SMMR and My own person I imagined six like really tough, and not girly at all and the girl they chose looks like kinda really girly, and they left out so much like the fact Henri so does not die that early, and the Mogodorians look nothing like I imagined the film just can’t compete with the book!

The first book was freaking nothing like the second, I mean the movie was good, but the book was like a million times better, so I kinda don’t want them to make a movie because they will most likely mess it up again, which I will get really mad at so yeah
