Entertainment Weekly has exclusively released an excerpt from The New Hunger by Isaac Marion, a prequel to the zombie love story and upcoming ‘zom com’ romance Warm Bodies. The film, starring Nicholas Hoult and Teresa Palmer, will hit theaters on February 1st. The prequel will take place soon after the zombie apocalype, and will center around the characters we love from Warm Bodies – R, Julie, and Nora. Separated from their parents, 16-year-old Nora and her younger brother Addis fight to escape zombies that are pursuing them. Meanwhile, R wakes up in the woods with no memory of who he is, and Julie is stuck on an odd road trip with her parents. It will be released exclusively in eBook format on January 28th by Zola Books.
