Mackenzie Foy of ‘Breaking Dawn’ Joins Adaptation of ‘Wish You Well’

Picture 511

Mackenzie Foy, who plays Renesmee in Breaking Dawn – Part 2, has joined the film adaptation of David Baldacci’s bestseller Wish You Well. The novel tells the story of a young girl from the 1940s who moves from New York to Virginia with her younger brother, after a tragedy. They move in with their great-grandmother on her farm, and she comes closer to understanding the land and roots that inspired her father’s writings while discovering herself, and the love of family.

Mackenzie will be playing the lead in this film, so it will be interesting to see her carrying a movie that will probably require her to showcase her acting chops more than the Twilight franchise. The film, which is being directed by Darnell Martin, has already started principal photography, and also stars Josh Lucas, Ellen Burstyn, Ned Bellamy, Laura Fraser, Seamus Davey-Fitzpatrick and Alano Miller. Thanks to Nessie Mackenzie for the tip! Are you looking forward to seeing Mackenzie in a new movie? I’m looking forward to seeing her in Breaking Dawn – Part 2!
