Countdown to ‘Forever’ – Fans Remember ‘The Twilight Saga’ & Enter To Win Awesome Prizes (Week 3)

As we countdown to the premiere of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2,” we are asking for your help to relive the memories!  Each Thursday we will propose a question related to The Twilight Saga experience and we are looking for your answers.  Our team will be sharing our memories as well.

We’ll highlight some of our favorite answers from each week when it gets closer to the premiere.

Along the way we will be cleaning out our prize closet! Each week we’ll draw a name from the submitted answers to win a prize.  Also, if your answer is chosen to be featured in the wrap up article, you will be getting a prize, too!    We have lots of great prizes to give away including Tonner dolls, Twilight jewelry, tote bags, t-shirts, posters sets and so much more!  If you get picked to receive a prize your prize will be selected by random drawing in November.

I LOVED some of the questions for Stephenie Meyer from last week.  There were ones that I had never thought about, but would definitely add to my list of questions for her.  I look forward to sharing some of them with you in the wrap up post.  Meanwhile,  congrats to Christine, who submitted a question about ‘Midnight Sun,’ for being the  random drawing winner for Week two.

This week our question  is:  WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE NON-TRIO CHARACTER AND WHY?

We all love Bella, Edward and/or Jacob, but who is the character that you love outside the main three and why do you ship them?

It’s always been about Carlisle for me and I’m sure that is no surprise.  I was intrigued with his character from the moment Charlie first described “Dr. Cullen” and then Bella’s mouth dropped open on his first appearance and I was hooked.  His leadership, his compassion, his curiosity, and his amazing history made me love him.  He spent so much time alone, but his existence had purpose.  He not only made a moral decision to not kill humans from the beginning,  but he also went about educating himself and became a doctor to heal humans.  He spend more than 250 years without a companion and it was several years more before he changed the woman who would become his mate.  He appreciates and values the life he has created and the people around him who are his family.  There would be no Cullen’s without Carlisle and I wouldn’t have made it past the first book without Dr. Cullen.

My favorite non-trio character would probably be Alice! She just seems like the best friend every girl wishes she could have, and she has a pretty awesome special gift – she can see the future! I think her back-story with Jasper is also interesting, I really loved reading about how they met. She’s just bubbly, adorable, and an overall awesome character!

    My favourite non-trio character from the get go has been Rosalie Hale. I just got that inkling when reading Twilight that she didn’t truly hate Bella. Call it gut instinct or whatever you may want, but I knew there was logic and reason behind her jealous fervour! I felt that she was relatable I’m the sense of being someone who was misunderstood by so many, and I almost felt sorry for her character in that! Combine the spite with her nurturing side and you have a typical angsty typing adult! I just held that connection as something that was always able to get me through, despite her presence in the majority of each book!

    I love Alice. She has a great attitude, despite her past. And she tries to protect everyone. She’s just a great sister and friend.

    Emmett!! He reminds me a lot of my best friend and if I had a brother, I would have loved him to be just like Emmett :)

    My favorite non-trio character is definitely Emmett…he is one of the funniest characters I’ve ever read in a book, all of his lines make me laugh when I read the book. As well they picked the perfect person to play Emmett, Kellan does such a great job at showing the humor that Stephenie created when she wrote Emmett, watching the movies Emmett’s lines are always the best as well as in the books.

    My favorite non-trio character is Carmen. I love how she was so open to listen to Renesmee. She was always my favorite out of the Denali Clan.

    Definitely Alice! She really is what every girl wants as a best friend/sister. She is funny, caring, protective, and she can even tell you exactly how your day will go so that leaves one less thing for you to stress about!

    I really love Emily. And the fact that Tinsel plays her so well is a bonus. I love that she sticks by Sam no matter what & is not afraid to show her scar. She shows that beauty is more than skin deep. I know she was imprinted on but her love for Sam is beautiful too, just like her!

    Charlie is definitely my favorite non trio character. I love the father-daughter relationship he has with Bella. He doesn’t say it in a lot of words but he loves his daughter very much. and he’s very protective of her Sometimes he reminds me of my dad in that way. And he’s so funny! The “sex-talk” scene in Eclipse was hilarious! Team chief Swan!

    I love so many characters but I would have to go with Carlisle. He would do anything to protect his family, he strives to help people, and he is just a good soul. He is a person to be admired as are all of the Cullens for all that they have achieved.

    Charlie gets my vote as a non-trio favorite. He was always so awkward with a teenage Bella– but in an endearing way. He has some of the best one-liners and kept things light. A favorite scene is when Edward wants to formally meet Chief Swan. Charlie snaps the rifle closed and smirks- like a CopDad would do- but finished by making a halo motion!! Love it!!

    My favorite non-trio character would have to be Carlisle! He is after all the patriarch of the Cullen Clan. I love him for wanting to have some semblance of humanity and being a doctor shows that. He is very humble, caring, welcoming, and is my favorite non-trio character!

    I think it’s Carlisle. His desire to help humams rather than harm them despite his nature is something very admirable. It takes a lot of strength and he recognized that same strength in each of his family members, giving each the chance to grow beyond what they had become.

I love the way he is, the way she act, even the way she is in live with Jasper, she is a girl like I wish I could be, smoky, dancy, enthusiastic and lovely. She seems to be that gel you can’t be enemy with cause she is so.. Cute ! Like a little lutin ! I really love her and I think that she’s has a huge role on this movie even if she’s coming from the trio. A.

    It’s hard for me to choose. I love all the Cullens for different reasons. (Team Cullen baby.) Right now I’d probably go for Alice she’s just an amazing person and sometimes I wish I had a sister like her.

    Alice or Emmett! Alice because she’s so cute, bubbly and friendly. I love her personality. And I love the ways she’s like a sister to Bella. Her pixie-likeness is just so adoreable! :D I don’t think you can help but love her!
    And then Emmett is just… Emmett :D He’s so funny and rude! He’s really nice though and is like a big brother to Bella. I think he’s a tough guy with a warm heart! Ah I just love him!

    My favorite non trio character would have to be Alice. I mean for one shes like the sister bella never had and I love that she helps Jasper when his apetite is hard for him , she also has the awesome power of seeing the future which is pretty cool.

    I always had a connection with Alice! She seemed like the best friend I always wanted, so down to earth and sweet. She was happy no matter what the circumstance and she gives all she has. She’d been through so much in her life and yet she found her way through. She’s inspirational and sensational, I love her! <3

    I love Reneseme! She’s so innocent and sweet! I love how she accepts everything so grown up. I love her relationship with Jacob, it’s like she knows he’s there for life.

    I’ve always LOVED Edward from the beginning! His character has always been mysterious and sexy! He is a fantastic actor and it always helps when he’s hot! Lol! He is absolutely perfect for his part!

    My favorite non-trio character is Jasper. He’s my favorite character in general. I love his back story and his devotion to Alice and his family. He’s definitely a kind of person I would love to have in my life.

    Movie Charlie and his stache. Billy Burke took a couch potato and turned him into a sweet, funny, and loving character. Whenever I’ve seen the movies, he always gets the biggest laughs and he always tugs at my heart the most. My favorite Charlie moment is when he’s cleaning his gun and tells Bella to “bring him in.” I also love his little flirtation with Cora in the first movie. I’m sure he was getting more than just berry cobbler on Thursdays.

    I really love Rosalie! She seems so empty and rude in the beginning but she certainly proves that she is not that person at all. She comes so far in this series and becomes a true sister and family to Bella! To endure everything she went through in her past life and become the person she ends up to be is amazing!!!! Love her!

    My favourite no-trio character would have to be James. I know he is a horrible, bad vampire but I really think this is when you really test Bella and Edward’s relationship and it shows that they do love each other. I think that the character tests their relationship not just for Bella and Edward but for the whole Cullen Coven.

    My favorite character outside the trio is Alice. Her exuberant personality draws you in, and she continues to hold your attention with her talent for seeing the future. I always liked the description of her appearance in the book, and how, even though she is small, she is fierce! She is also the best friend every girl would want to have with a killer wardrobe to boot!

    This is hard because it has changed several times. I love Angela. I think she was an underrated character to the story.

    And Emmett is my other favorite….I think his personality helped ease the intensity of the situation.

    My favorite character has never been the trio. It has always been Emmett. Ever since I read the books I always picture Emmett as a big brother that I would want to have. He seems so warm and protective. Kellan does a great job of playing him and I love meeting him twice.

    From the books, Alice is my favorite. She’s so perky and kind to Bella!

    From the movies, however, Charlie steals the scene every time. I love him!

    I have to say Emmett or Carlisle. I really like Emmett’s character, especially in the books. You get to see more of his personality and his back story there. He’s like the big, teasing, protective big brother that I never had. I also really liked Carlisle’s history in the books. His story is very interesting and unique. I was sad when they didn’t even go near explaining how Carlisle became a vampire in the movies. :(

    My favorite Twilight Saga Character is Emmett Cullen. He has such a positive approach on life & a big heart. He has Rosalie and a family that loves him and is very content with his life as a Vampire. Emmett embodies everything I want in a guy which is handsomeness, kindness, & a sense of humor. :)

    My favorite non-trio character is Mary Alice Brandon Cullen because she’s so strong even before she became a vampire as a human she had to endure her human life and endure the decisions her family made for her because of her gift then as a vampire she had to be alone for a period of time and wait for Jasper, support him and be positive about the Cullens and her new life she’s so cute with everybody full of energy and noble she’s always there for anyone that needs her she’s also so easy to like I’d love to have a friend or a sister like her.
