Ben Kingsley is in talks to join ‘Ender’s Game’ as “a legendary war hero presumed to be long dead” according to The Hollywood Reporter. Orson Scott Card’s novel is about a future where the brightest young kids are brought together to fight an alien invasion. Asa Butterfield is locked to play the lead character Ender, with Hailee Steinfeld in talks to play his companion Petra. The Odd Lot and Summit Entertainment film will start filming in early 2012, and will hit theaters March 15, 2013.
