Casting Begins for ‘Beautiful Creatures’

Two years and three books later, casting has finally begun for the adaptation of Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl’s Beautiful Creatures. Bloody Disgusting is reporting that Alcon Entertainment began casting for the movie today. Alcon still has Richard LaGravenese directing. Earlier this month at YAllFest author Kami Garcia said that LaGravenese had finished the script but neither of the authors had yet read it. Shooting is scheduled to begin in April 2012.

    I have heard great things about this book and can’t wait to read it, Along with every other book I have to read of course. I’m so glad I haven’t started this series yet because the wait for the movie would have been torture.
