A post or two ago we talked about who should play Wanderer (suggesting Kristen Prout) and today’s suggestion is Matt Dallas. Matt Dallas’ most famous role would be for Kyle in Kyle XY. What do you all think of him as another suggestion for Ian? We have already talked about people like Erik Fellows but what do you think about Matt Dallas?
I think he is adorable, and his eyes are just stunning. Wanderer always talks about Ian’s stunning blue eyes and Matt Dallas has some of the best ones that I have seen, though he may be a little too young unless Hollywood can work some magic with make up and make him look older.
One thing that we can dream about though if we like both Matt Dallas and Kristen Prout is that in Kyle XY their characters are a couple, which means that we could have a sneak peek of what could be Wanda and Ian!
What do you think of each actor? Who would you like to see cast as Ian and Wanda?
I still think Chris Pine is the perfect Ian. If not Chris Pine then I suppose Ian Somerhalder would also do well.
i agree, IAN SOMERHALDER would be amazing! not sure about chris pine, and no real suggestion yet for wanderer. though ashley greene as melanie (it’s been a while, i think that’s her name) would be great!
To be honest, my dream cast has changed a lot since I first made it. The only person that I’m resolute on is Cary Elwes (many years ago…when he was thinner not that there’s anything wrong with him now but in the book he’s thin!) as Doc Eustace. I still see Jonathan Rhys Meyers as Kyle. Those two I’m absolutely set on in my head. The others were too difficult to cast. I mean, come one, Ian! I picture Chris Pine, with darker hair. But when I heard about Stephenie Meyer casting Ben and Casey Affleck, it’s no doubt who she had them in mind for. Casey Affleck would make a goo Ian I think.
I think Matt Dallas should play Ian, and Kirsten Prout play Wanda. It would be a relief to know that they end up together, than in Kyle XY):
